Our Jude Thomas just celebrated his 2nd birthday and since our little guy is Elmo obsessed we celebrated Sesame Street style!
I love party planning, in fact for a long time when trying to decide on a career path I thought I might be an event planner. But, since I steered in a different direction I get to do it just for fun and for who better else then for my own boys! Pinterest also really helps to make my job so much easier! There are some of the cutest ideas on there! Here are the fruit and vegetable trays that I created for the Sesame Street event:
Elmo Vegetable tray made from cherry tomatoes, black olives, carrots and ranch dip.
Cookie Monster fruit tray with blueberries, black grapes, blackberries and cream cheese fruit dip.
Big Bird fruit tray made with pineapple, mandarin oranges and cream cheese fruit dip.
Oscar the Grouch vegetable tray made with broccoli, black olives, carrots and ranch dip.
Here’s the adorable birthday boy checking out his cake!
Our little guy is a big eater. I fixed him a special table using an Elmo handerchief as tablecloth.
Finally getting to eat his cake! He had been impatiently waiting all night.
Big brother, Carter, was a huge help opening up presents.
Happy Birthday to our precious Jude! I can’t believe 2 years have past since this wonderful blessing came into our lives.
A big thank you to all our friends and family who came out and helped make Jude’s birthday so special! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and scored some good deals during black Friday. I know I did and actually wrapped up my Christmas shopping! Yay!
Hope everyone has a great week!
